Under new management, Nundah Mitsubishi became the top dealer in Queensland after only a few months, a position it has held often to the present day. It is frequently ranked No.1 in Queensland, and often No.1 in Australia.
Northside Honda joined Norris Enterprises following the purchase of a site adjacent to Nundah Mitsubishi. The buildings were refurbished and Northside Honda commenced trading in November 1995. This dealership has also been a great success story, often ranking No.1 statewide and sometimes as high as No.1 in Australia.
Mercedes-Benz Light Commercial Vehicles joined what became known as the Norris Motor Group when it commenced trading in February 1998. Yet another great success, it is usually ranked in first place statewide and mostly in the top three nationally, often No.1 or 2. The new premises for this franchise were completed in 1999. A Suzuki dealership was added shortly after.
Northstar Mitsubishi and Suzuki were added to the group when Redcliffe Mitsubishi was acquired in July 2000. With enormous potential for growth and improvement this dealership has already proven to be a great success. Now known as the Northstar Motor Group, it currently operates from two locations, the second being Kippa Ring. Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Citroen, Mitsubishi and Suzuki are all sold at Northstar which also offers full Parts, Service, Finance and Used Car services.
Metro Nissan, Suzuki and Renault, a prominent metropolitan dealership located on Lutwyche Road Windsor was added to the group in May 2003. The Dealership has significant volume and a very well established client base. Having the Nissan, Suzuki and Renault franchises has added well to the diversity of the group. Major renovations and improvements were completed January 2007, at which time a Suzuki outlet was also added.
Yet another highlight has been the opening of the Nundah branch of the Bank of Queensland on 3rd June 2003. This has been an exciting new growth path for the group offering a wider range of financial services to our client base and complimenting those already offered through QLD Finance Leasing.
Our latest expansion has been the opening of the Norris Motor Group Isuzu UTE opened in October 2008 & located at Nundah. This marks yet another brand for the Norris Motor Group family and strengthening the brands that are offered for sale to our clients.
The Norris Motor Group in total now has the following dealerships:- Mitsubishi x 2, Nissan, Renault x 2, Honda, Mercedes-Benz Vans, Suzuki x 3, Isuzu UTE, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Citroen. All offer full Parts, Service, Finance and Used Car services.
The future for the Norris Motor Group is exciting. A VW dealership will be developed in Kedron as well as a World of Honda site at Nundah. It is also expected that further franchises will be acquired in the near future.
